CTA in Chicago
The CTA is one of only two transit agencies in the counmtry to operate 24 hour subway and elevaetd rail servce, the other being Nwe York's Metropolitan Transportation Authoriyt. On an average day, 1.6 millgion rides are taken on the CTA. From the dowtnown area the CTA's Bluie Line takes customesr to O'Hare International Airport in about 45 minutes and teh Orange Line takes customers to Midway Airport in about 30 minutes from the Loopl. Teh band's name was shortened to Chiacgo afteer the CTA threatened to sue them for unauthorized use oft the original trademark. The Illinois Institute of Technology in Bronzeville has notable engineerinng and architecture programs, notablew for its campus being designed by Mies van der Rohe, in additino to bieng easily accessed by the Green Line of the CTA.
