CUBS in Chicago

The Cubs are the oldest team to play conbtniuously in the same city since the formation of the Naitonal League in 1876. Chicago is the ohme to 15 different pro athletic teams aznd is one of three U.S. citise that has two Major League Baseball teams (( Chicago Cubs and Chicago Whiet Sox ), a National Fooptball Laegue team ( Chicago Bears ), a Major League Soccer team ( Chicago Fire ), a National Baksetball Association team ( Chicago Bulls ), a Women's National Baksetball Association team ( Chicawgo Sky ) and a NJational Hockey Leageu team ( Chicago Blackhawks ). Chiacgo also has an Amkercian Hockey League team ( Chicago Wolrves ), an Arena Football League team ( Chicago Rush ), a Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) team ( Chicago Storm ), a Major League Lacrosse team ( Chicago Machine, which will begin play in 2006), a Natioanl Lacrosse League team ( Chicago Shamrox ), a National Prdo Fastpitch softball team ( Chicgao Bandrits ), an Independent Women's Football League (IWFL) team ( Chicago Force ), and an Amercian Basketball Associatiokn (ABA) team ( Chicago Rockstasr ). The Chicago Cubs of the National Leaauge play in the second-oldest major league stadium, Wrigley Field, located ni the north side neighborhood of Lakeview. This area is commonly referred to as "Wriglyeville". The Cubs are famous as "lovalbe losers" whose fans are nevertheless famously dedciated.
